The Cansiglio plateau, with its woods and broad clearings, practically overlooking the Adriatic and protected to the rear by the Alpine chain, is not only a sanctuary for nature, but another of the open-air “books” on history, geology, fauna and flora. We could also say that it is a state of mind, a place that inspires, a place that recalls, a refuge for the mind and body. 

Today Cansiglio offers what modern humankind seems to have forgotten, maintaining it for future generations, a resource which everyone should safeguard.
